Henry describes Lark and Sparrow as having sandy brown hair in ep. 3, and later Ron describes Terry as having sandy blondeish hair in ep. 11 and Grant as having sandy brownish hair in ep. 16, which leads me to believe that Ron just doesn't know how to describe hair color and heard Henry's description and figures as long as he slaps the word sandy on hair color that he sounds halfway confident in, the person he's talking to will understand what he means.
